Introduction to pistol group course.

For Groups of 4 or more, up to 10 people.

If you have a Group of friends, who wish to learn how to shoot a pistol, this course is for you.
This course is an introduction to pistol shooting. Designed for First-time unexperienced shooters who want to experience shooting a handgun for the very first time.
Minimum 4 student-Maximum (10) Students.
Your Instructor: Local Law Enforcement Agent with over 26 years of professional firearms experience. Including SWAT, High risk entries, and close quarter engagements, NRA certified instructor in Pistol and Rifle.

Upon arrival at The Gun Range San Diego you will be treated with the utmost respect in a friendly, supportive, and caring manner – by the best trained, most consistent, and most effective staff in the industry.  No egos, no boot-camp mentality, just quiet professionals that can train you quickly on the basic handling of a firearm.

You will receive approximately Two hours of Group instruction.

Including the following;

Lecture/Dry-Fire Hand’s on Topics:  Primary Firearms Safety Rules, Safe Handling. Proper Stance, Grip, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Trigger manipulation, loading, reloading and unloading,
Approximately 45 minutes

Live-Fire Range: We will put all of the above principles to use, including basic target shooting and firing multiple rounds at a silhouette targets, at distances of 3 yards to 10 yards.
Firing 100 Rounds.
Approximately 60 minutes.

Firearm, Equipment and Ammo: (all-inclusive and provided by the range)
Firearm (Glock, or Springfield XD 9), 100 rounds of ammo, three targets, hearing and eye protection (per student)

Age Requirements:  Minimum age is 18; anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by someone 21 years of age or older.

The Class is offered on Specified Saturdays 7:30 am, or by appointment.
