Advanced Self Defense Pistol Course
This course is designed as a progressive follow up course for our Intermediate Self Defense Pistol Course. For the Advanced class Maximum 8 Students.
Your Instructor: Local Law Enforcement Agent with over 26 years of professional firearms experience. Including SWAT, High risk entries, and close quarter engagements, NRA certified instructor in Pistol and Rifle.
Upon arrival at The Gun Range San Diego you will be treated with the utmost respect in a friendly, supportive, and caring manner – by the best trained, most consistent, and most effective staff in the industry. No egos, no boot-camp mentality, just quiet professionals that can train you very quickly to be very effective with a firearm.
You will receive approximately Two hours of instruction.
Lecture/Hands On Live Fire Range drills
Including: All Intermediate class principles, one hand shooting and off-hand shooting, shooting on the move, advancing, linear, diagonal and horizontal.
Firing approximately 100 rounds
Approximately 120 minutes Firearm, Equipment and Ammo:
Firearm, 100 rounds of ammo, three targets, hearing and eye protection (per student) or
Bring your own pistol (semi-auto) and 2 magazines minimum. Holster and Magazine pouch.
The weapon must be fully functional, have all factory-installed safety devices intact, and have no dangerous modifications (such as a “hair” triggers less than 4 pounds, removed trigger guard, Suggested attire;
- Wrap around impact resistant eye protection, preferably clear lenses (available at the range), or prescription glasses are acceptable.
- High neckline shirt, (low neckline shirts tend to catch HOT brass & funnel it onto the skin.)
Age Requirements: Minimum age is 18, anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by someone 21 years of age or older.
Cost: $265 for per person *This course will be conducted beyond the firing line.

This class may be offered in a private setting at $350.00 per hour,
